My name is Debetimi Marcus Apreala. I was born in Lagos and forged in Bayelsa — where the culture is thick and everybody stays posted up. I didn't learn my craft in a pristine studio; I was educated by the pavement.
I have a lifelong, fatalistic relationship with pixels. Call it a calling, call it a curse, but if I'm not manipulating them, I'm not breathing. I tell stories rooted in the streets because that is the exact environment that made me, and it's the only truth I know.
03 / Process
Every frame
goes deep.
No storyboard survives the street. The process is simple — get the artist into their element, disappear into the crowd, and pull the truth out in the edit.
Listen
The track on repeat, the artist's block on foot. I scout where they actually stand, not where a location manager would put them.
Shoot
FX3, handheld, natural light and whatever the street throws. One take energy — the streets don't do rehearsals.
Cut
Rhythm first, colour last. The grade stays raw; the cut hits on the beat the artist actually feels.
Music
Videos.
A music video is a closed-door conversation. It's just the artist, their truth, and my camera. They perform their story for me, and I filter that raw frequency through my lens for you. You aren't just watching a visual — you're getting a VIP pass to see the culture exactly how I see it.

My commercial work lives exactly where high fashion bleeds into the concrete. I capture the grit, the motion, and the unapologetic attitude of urban culture. It's not about selling a silhouette; it's about documenting a lifestyle that actually exists outside.
